About Me

I am a Psychotherapist with more than  18 years of experience in London and New York in both the public and private sectors, including the NHS and private and voluntary organisations.

I have a special interest in depression, anxiety, working with those adjusting to life as an Expat, transitions in family life or in relationships,  trauma, abuse, bereavement and loss and cross-cultural issues.

I also have expertise working with children and adults who have difficulties with stress, anxiety,  depression/low mood. As well as with children with emotional or behavioural difficulties (including ADHD and ASD).

As an Integrative Psychotherapist I utilise psychodynamic, systemic and humanistic theories in order to help clients make sense of and work through their current struggles and address their past difficulties when appropriate.

I offer both short-term and long-term individual psychotherapy.

I also offer short-term  parenting behavioural management interventions, which can be helpful when children have challenging or difficult behaviours and Parent-Led Child Therapy which is particularly helpful for children who are anxious.

My therapeutic aim is to work with adults and children to alleviate their distress, make sense of their life experiences and develop more helpful ways of coping with difficulties.

I believe in providing a respectful therapeutic relationship which draws on individual strengths and innate resources to heal and move forward in their life.
